After what seemed like an endless summer break, No Sins is finally back! On Wednesday the 5th of november they're playing in the Panama for the first time. Doors open at 08:00 PM, No Sins plays at 9:30. Don't miss it!
Wednesday evening at 20.30 we started our show in the P60 in Amstelveen. This time no screw-ups, no broken strings, no blown up amps, just a f*ckin' good show. Too bad we didn't make it to the finals in the HMH, but hey: we played at Europe's top location for music-events and we have pictures to prove it! So, maybe next year, but it's not that big of a loss. I mean, we'd rather play the Vans Warped Tour... ;)
No Sins did their thing -which basically is playing punkrock and giving people a hell of a time- in a squat in Amersfoort at "De Hoef". The audience was having a good time, and so did we!
We thought it was just for some sort of a band evening, turns out it's a birthday party for one of the squatters, Summer.
So, Summer: Happy fucking birthday, hope you liked it, and we bet you had enough alcohol, seeing you dance by that pole!
Some highlights of the evening: Tiz almost lost his voice, when Guy started to play the whole stage danced along with him, Farmerboy was yelled at by the bassist of Jizzface and Djoeka blew another amp. He states: "That's my third amp in my No Sins career, I already blew two Marshall JCM800s in one night, so, blowing one Fender Bandmaster Reverb isn't that special. But I'm still proud :D."
Photos are under way, in the mean time, check our Picasa-photobook for the photos from last monday of the DiscoverMeLive-festival at "het Wilhelminapakhuis".
... if you miss the gig on April 2nd!
Check out the new and improved giglist that Farmerboy and Rodetta updated!
No Sins is also writing some new awesome shit!! so check our gigs and pick your new favorite song!!
We are now very busy organizing the ''Porto tour - 2008'' our first tour in Portugal next May!!
Be sure not to miss the following gigs:
march 17 - 20:00 No Sins @ WesterUnie, playing at the discover me live festival.
april 2 - 20:00 No Sins @ P60 (Amstelveen). This is the second round of the Emergenza festival and the bar will be raised much higher than last time in
the Winston. So be there, we need your vote! Tickets can be purchased at the door, but it's cheaper to just mail me: rodetta@nosins.nl.
Other news:
* Our beloved Djoeka has fully recovered from his angina.
* Tiz has returned safely from wintersport.
* Guy and Astrid bought a new apartment and are currently busy redecorating it.
* Farmerboy is being his old self again.
* Rodetta is still awesome as ever.
The first post of 2008 I get to announce great news: No Sins has qualified themselves for the second round at the Emergenza festival!
Things didn't look so good that night. Djoeka was sick and could hardly even breathe because his tonsils were swollen up to 3 times their normal size. Thierry had been sick the whole week as well, was recovering but still not 100%. But he was going to play anyway. Alltogether we sold 35 tickets, but there were some people who couldn't make it. Jeroen had told us at the technical meeting that we'd have to sell at least 40 tickets to have a shot. The first band that played was a metalband. They got quite some votes. After that, it was time for No Sins to knock people's socks off. Mick announced that to his regret No Sins was not complete tonight, since the guitarist had died a week ago. "But because his spirit is still with us, there is a mic for him and we even turned on his amp." They started it up with the medley, followed by Untitled and Fuck off. Then it was time for Hugo to get on stage for his song, and please our portugese friends. After that Radio and Greed, followed by Bored. That was the last song since there was no time left to play the world famous encore song I gotta place to go. But the number of votes looked promising.
After No Sins the emo/screamo/whatever band Nameless hit the stage, only to get a minimum number of votes. After that 3 bands I am not going to bore you with, because, well, they were boring. The last one was a metalband called Taurus, and they absolutely blew everyone away. There was a huge pit going on in the sweaty little space that the Winston is and even some crowdsurfing. They obviously got the highest number of votes. Then it was time for the results. Only 4 out of the 8 bands would be qualified for the next round. When Jeroen stood on stage announcing the number of votes for each band, starting at the least, we could hardly take the tension.
Despite the absence of our beloved Djoeka, with a shared 4th place and a whopping 38 votes No Sins is qualified to play the next round at the P60 in Amstelveen. We hope to see everyone there again. Because now we're only one step away from playing at the Melkweg. So thanks everyone for voting for us! We couldn't have done it without you.
"Noam?" What the fuck.

Unreliable sources have confirmed that Farmerboy is going to play in an emoband. The first practise will be this sunday. The band has no name yet, and they have a stunning 1,5 songs. They claim No Fun At All and Millencolin to be their main influences.
On Friday, September 21 No Sins will play a gig in Uitgeest. I'm still waiting for Mick to pass me the details... anyway, be there!!
Farmerboy is busy arranging a festival in JC de Basis. Several big names have already agreed to play at the festival. This month we're going to sit down and talk things over with the people from the Basis, so we'll keep you posted! Bands To Be Announced!
Rumors say No Sins are going back into the studio to record their second album.
Last week the life of our favourite bassplayer was rudely interrupted when a huge explosion could be traced back to his house in the peaceful village of Halfway. Firemen and the cops were directly at the scene. Research has shown the boiler had exploded. Authorities could not give any information about the cause of the explosion.
During the gig in The Flame in Amishfoort, where No Sins played on August 31 with Outlive and Like Herring, Rodetta sold 5 copies of The Greatest Sins - vol.6. This was also thanks to Thierry, who promised the audience that the one who found a golden condom in their cd-cover could go backstage with Rodetta. Check out the pictures!
Now available: the very first dvd with rare footage entitled No Gods, No Sins. Features o.a. live gigs, video clips, an interview with the band and a photo-gallery. A true must-have for the fans!
We've got our own Picasa album filled with pictures from atleast 8 of our shows! Go have a look here. ("atleast 8" because i'm now searching like a wild man for all the pictures that were taken on previous shows.. :P)
Pictures of the StarQuake Open Podium are available! HERE!

Last weekend Mick had to flee to Belgium for the IRS, so we had to play 2 gigs without him: the Solution in HELLegom and in the ArtQuake in Hoofddorp. Guy drummed like he always did: like an unstoppable horrific diesel-engine (Which is a good thing by the way), Thierry was questioned and hitted on by this punkerchick from ZOOP and Djoeka had to play the bass and sing (Ohw shit...) And they even liked it! Damn! Ay! =D
The photo's for the Solution in HELLegom can be found in this Photobucket.
